This policy outlines the rules regarding cancellation, postponement, and refund eligibility for all bookings with Rasokriti Events & Caterers. By confirming a booking or making a payment, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:


1. General Cancellation Terms

1.1 All cancellations must be made in written form via email or signed letter.
1.2 Verbal or informal cancellations (e.g. over phone or WhatsApp) will not be considered valid.
1.3 Booking confirmation implies acceptance of this Cancellation Policy in full.


2. Non-Refundable Advance

2.1 All advance payments made at the time of booking are strictly non-refundable, regardless of reason.
2.2 This includes but is not limited to cancellations due to:
  – Personal emergencies
  – Guest unavailability
  – Venue cancellations
  – Natural calamities
  – Health issues or pandemics
  – Logistic or financial limitations of the client

2.3 Rasokriti blocks team, resources, vendors, and time in advance based on confirmed events — hence, refunds are not viable.


3. Postponement Policy

3.1 If a client wishes to postpone the event:
 • A written request must be submitted at least 15 days in advance of the original event date.
 • Rescheduling will be allowed only once per booking.
 • New dates are subject to availability and confirmation from Rasokriti.
 • If the event is rescheduled successfully, the advance paid will be adjusted.
 • Rasokriti reserves the right to charge additional logistics cost (if applicable).

3.2 Postponement requests made less than 15 days before the event may be denied or treated as a cancellation.


4. Cancellation After Full Payment

4.1 If the client cancels after making 100% payment, Rasokriti may, at its discretion, offer partial credit (up to 30%) for a future event within the next 3 months — but this is not guaranteed.
4.2 This goodwill gesture depends on service preparation stage, vendor bookings, perishables ordered, and date of cancellation.


5. No-Show or Last-Minute Cancellation

5.1 If the client does not appear at the venue on the event date, or cancels within 72 hours of the event, Rasokriti will retain the entire payment.
5.2 No compensation, reschedule, or alternate benefit shall be applicable in such cases.


6. Force Majeure Clause

6.1 Rasokriti shall not be held liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond its control, including:
  – Fire
  – Floods
  – Riots
  – Earthquake
  – Government-imposed lockdowns
  – Pandemics or epidemics
  – Political or legal restrictions

6.2 In such situations, Rasokriti will attempt to reschedule the event if feasible, but no refunds shall be provided.


7. Vendor & Decor Material Costs

7.1 For cancellations made after decoration items, flowers, or special materials have already been sourced:
 • Rasokriti reserves the right to bill the client additionally for those non-returnable materials.
 • This applies even if the event itself is cancelled or postponed.


8. Booking Transfer Policy

8.1 Rasokriti does not allow transfer of booking to third parties or other clients without prior written approval.
8.2 If such a transfer is approved, both the original and new client must sign the modified booking agreement.


9. Waiver & Final Authority

9.1 Rasokriti reserves the right to make exceptions in rare humanitarian cases, but is under no legal obligation to do so.
9.2 All disputes will be governed by the laws of India and under jurisdiction of [Your District/Court Name].


10. Final Acknowledgement

By signing this document or making any form of advance payment, the client confirms that they:

✅ Accept that all advance payments are non-refundable
✅ Agree to proceed under these terms without dispute
